Gaps in upper level flooring.
Whenever I had brought up an issue regarding the build, I was told that all works were done to Industry Standards and Regulations.
Is this work considered to be Industry Standard?

Gaps in upper level flooring.
Whenever I had brought up an issue regarding the build, I was told that all works were done to Contract and Industry Standards and Regulations.
However, when the error was made on the upper level flooring, where a gap of approx. 1cm was left all round instead of passing under the skirting as the is the case in every other room in the house. Surely, if the flooring contractors were unsure all they had to do was ask or check the other rooms. Even the adjoining rooms on the same floor had the correct fitting.
The only option offered was to leave it as is, ( rediculous), or they would put a beading around to cover the error. This was done as the solution much to my disappointment.
Is this work considered to be Industry Standard?
